Who we are

I grew up in Yaoundé, the capital city of Cameroon. Every summer, we would leave the city and travel to my family’s village for vacation—a time filled with family, tradition, and working the land. I spent those summers on the farm with my uncle, where I learned how to grow peanuts, cassava, cacao, plantains, mangoes, and even saffron. Those experiences rooted me deeply in the flavors and rhythms of home.

When I moved to the United States in 2017, I carried those memories—and those tastes—with me. But finding the ingredients I grew up with was difficult. I often had to drive to New Jersey, New York, and sometimes all the way to Maryland just to find authentic African foods that met the quality I remembered. It was inconvenient, but it was worth it, because these foods weren’t just about eating—they were about staying connected to home, family, and culture.

That’s why I decided to open this store: to bring the best quality African food products to our community here in Easton and throughout the Lehigh Valley. Whether it’s attiéké, placali, bobolo, saffron, peanut butter, palm oil, makero fish, soso fish, sol sol fish, or other essentials, I guarantee that what we offer is authentic, fresh, and rooted in the traditions I grew up with.

As a bonus: we also have authentic African clothing so you can look your best.

This is more than a business—it’s a way of sharing a piece of home. Whether you’re from Africa and miss those familiar tastes, or you're someone curious and ready to explore something new, we’re here to offer you a warm welcome and the very best of African cuisine.

From Our Table to Yours,
